Sites for Plein Air 2009 are in the works!

As most of you know, we try to find places to paint that will be beautiful to paint, inspiring, and with a certain level of comfort for everyone, restrooms and places to park etc. What's that saying? You can't please all of the people all of the time? I hope we please all the painters some of the time, anyway. We try to select all of our sites carefully, with the painters in mind.

The Gorge White House
Owner Camille Hukari, has a beautifully restored home and a lovely orchard/farm that has many things of interest to paint, a pear orchard, a huge field of u-cut flowers, gladiolas, dahlias and many more I don't know the names of.
Troutlake Washington, Hollenbeck Park
Located in very scenic Troutlake, WA. The residents of Troutlake are very excited to have us paint there this year. Troutlake is unbelievably beautiful, with striking close up views of Mt. Adams.
Hood River, Oregon Downtown
Bustling and busy small town atmosphere. Lots of interesting buildings and people to paint in downtown.
Another 2 sites, but we haven't decided where yet. We are still scouting around for something new, where we haven't painted before, there is so much to choose from here! I will keep you posted.

Don't forget to apply to be in the Plein Air 2009 show, the deadline is fast approaching, June 30.
