Celebrating the Pacific Northwest Landscape

The 14th Annual Pacific Northwest Plein Air show brings together 40 artists to paint the vast, wild beauty of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, from stunning views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River to the surrounding vineyards and snowy peaks of the Cascades. Participants in the juried event include emerging and established artists from the Pacific Northwest and from around the country.

Thur Aug 2 - 4pm is the Deadline for all of your work.

Turn in all work (up to 6 paintings) to Maryhill Museum by 4pm.

***The accepted size of work is 72” total unframed perimeter dimension or smaller. A 16” x 20” painting has a 72” perimeter. Any combination that equals or is less than the 72" perimeter maximum size will be accepted into the exhibition.

You may enter up to four paintings into the show and all must be for sale. Two replacement works will be accepted to replace sold work, for a grand total of six paintings submitted.***

Thurs Aug 2 - 4pm after "turn in of work" (Informal Artist Pizza Party) at Maryhill Museum Cafe

Fri Aug 3 - Workshop with Randall Sexton on the Museum Grounds

Sat Aug 4 : Museum Opening Reception, wine, hors d'oeuvres
